Glossop Market Hall is a vibrant destination in the heart of Glossop, bringing together independent food, drink, shopping and experiences within one of the town’s most historic landmarks. Thoughtfully restored and reimagined for a new generation, the Market Hall is a place to eat, drink, shop, meet and spend time.

Explore the Retail Arcade and discover independent traders, head into the Main Hall for an exciting mix of food and drink, or simply find a seat and soak up the atmosphere. Upstairs, The Old Town Hall provides a beautifully restored setting for weddings, celebrations and events, connecting the building’s rich heritage with its exciting new chapter.

And there’s even more to come. This September, our brand-new Mezzanine will complete the transformation of Glossop Market Hall, introducing nine independent retail units alongside additional seating, pool tables and dartboards.

The Grade II listed Town Hall is the central hub of the town, featuring distinctive industrial and civic architecture.

Enhancing the surrounding heritage buildings, the hall sits idyllically opposite Norfolk Square and, in line with the council’s vision, it has been created as a mixed use complex that will bring the community together.

We are a dog friendly venue.
